Service Options

We offer three options that are designed to suit most types of restoration, on occasions where none of these apply or where the damaged photo may need the services of a magician! Then we can submit a quotation on an individual basis.

Basic

Use this option where the work required is minor or the areas affected have little detail.

  • Repairing minor damage: small scratches, spots or tears in low detail areas.
  • Lightly faded photos brought back to life with restored contrast and detail.
  • Removing colour cast.
  • Cropping or enlargement.
  • Enhancing brightness, contrast, sharpness, colour balance.
  • Photos scanned and a digital file kept for safe keeping.

Intermediate

Use this option where photos require significant work or the areas affected may be more detailed. Large areas requiring attention.

  • The removal of large objects.
  • Repairing creases or tears in low/medium areas of details.
  • Removing very strong colour casts.
  • Replacing backgrounds, depending on level of detail.
  • The removal of large scratches in low/medium areas of details.
  • Removing stains or spots in low/medium areas of details.
  • Enhancing brightness, contrast, sharpness, colour balance.
 

Advanced

Use this option where photos are in poor condition or the areas affected are very detailed.

  • Providing a new background to a very detailed/busy subject.
  • Rebuilding a photo from several torn pieces.
  • Removing large stains or spots in areas of medium/high areas of detail.
  • Restoring very faded photos.
  • Resurrecting areas of missing background.
  • Photos with a strong colour cast.
  • Repair of large scratches, tears or creases in medium/high areas of detail.
